Golf Show is a Hole-In-One

Whether you’re an avid golfer or newbie, the Greater Madison Golf Show features numerous activities for you. Perfect your swing to avoid sand pits while exploring the latest in golfing technology and apparel at 12th annual show in Veterans Memorial Coliseum on March 9-10.

With over 150 exhibitors, this is one of the largest golf shows in the Midwest. Local experts will be present to answer all your golf related questions and offer advice on how to improve your game.
The show includes tons of prizes, contests and giveaways including a trip to Las Vegas and two rounds of golf. Enter the putting contest, par 3 challenge, or WII Golf Tournament to show off your skills and win awesome prize packs throughout this weekend long event. All attendees receive FREE rounds of golf at The Meadows of SixMile Creek and Windwood of Watertown.

Largest Fishing Expo in Midwest Returns

Reel in the excitement of the outdoors during the Madison Fishing Expo on February 24-26 in Exhibition. This annual event includes a diverse lineup of fishing tackle, equipment and boats from the industries’ leading manufacturers and dealers.

Children can enjoy fishing in the kids’ pond, minnow races, and contests throughout the day while parents can attend seminars on a variety of topics from how to improve your technique to fishing tricks. The nonprofit fishing show raises money for fishing and conservation projects throughout the state and has helped raise more than $550,000 to improve fishing within Wisconsin.
Tickets for the event are available at the door only. Admission is $8 for adults; children 12 and under are free. Admission is free for those in their military uniform or with a military ID. A Luncheon to Celebrate and Empower Women

Bring hope to lives of women throughout Wisconsin at the YWCA Circle of Women by encouraging philanthropy and empowerment among women. Gather your friends and family on February 23 in Exhibition Hall to hear from women who have changed their lives with support from YWCA Madison and discover how their gifts have benefited others.

 Each dollar raised goes directly to the YWCA to support local programming, including affordable housing, employment and training, racial and restorative justice, affordable transportation, and after-school enrichment for young girls.
This annual event helps raise funds for YWCA, an organization dedicated to strengthening race relations and providing shelter for low income women and children. YWCA offers training programs, helping to bring hundreds of women each year back on their feet and find success in the community.

A Must-See Classic Rock Orchestra Performance

Uncover the mystery behind Beethovan’s battle with his eternal soul during the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Beethovan’s Last Night tour. The talented classic rock orchestra performs in Veterans Memorial Coliseum on March 17, combining the best forms of music to create a progressive sound that continues to leave the audience speechless.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra continues to evolve by synchronizing their music with light shows, lasers, video screens, and pyrotechnics. With this unique blend of special effects, story-telling and music, the sounds of TSO cannot be narrowed to one genre and appeal to audiences of all ages.

World’s Largest Paddlesport Expo Returns

Do you have a passion for paddling? Check out Canoecopia, the world’s largest paddlesport exposition, on March 9-11 in Exhibition Hall. This annual Madison event features three days full of paddling seminars, demonstrations, and much more.

Bid farewell to the cold weather and start planning your next outdoor adventure. Exhibition Hall Awarded 2011 Best Convention Center

Each year, Wisconsin Meetings magazine conducts a reader survey to determine the "Best of" Wisconsin Meetings vendors and suppliers. For 2011, Exhibition Hall at theAlliant Energy Center has been selected by readers as The Best Convention Center.

Order Your Ticketmaster Event Tickets Toll Free

Event-goers who typically call in their Ticketmaster orders can now call toll free. The new number, 1-800-745-3000, allows anyone in the U.S. to order tickets via phone without paying pesky long distance charges. The previous number, (608) 255-4646, is no longer be available.

Alliant Energy Center event tickets are also available in person at the Coliseum Box Office, www.ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.
