You can eat delicious, nutritious meals on a budget! Participants will receive a resource booklet with useful information, like eating healthy food on a budget. All cooking skill levels are encouraged to attend!
The day is packed with fun activities and useful information, including: A morning panel discussion, a Food Myths game, label reading, creating a Menu for a Day, shopping at a food pantry, Going Out to Eat activities, Cooking at Home activities, food safety, handling and storing food, creating your own cookbook to use as a shopping list, an introduction to naturopathy and shopping on a budget.
