Alliant Energy Center COVID-19 Statement

Dear Friends of Alliant Energy Center,

We hope you are safe and healthy as our communities navigate the COVID-19 crisis. Currently, we are
following state and local public health orders to suspend non-essential activities until May 26, 2020. This
current challenge and the uncertainty the rest of the year holds hit our valued customers hard. We are
here to work with you as you reschedule your events and to make adaptations that will make your
gathering safer.

Alliant Energy Center is taking precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of employees,
clients, guests and the Dane County community. We continue to closely monitor the situation with the
expertise of local, state and federal health officials. Alliant Energy Center has:

  • Cancelled or rescheduled all events through May 26 and will continue to work with customers to follow
    the Governor's orders
  • Instructed all administrative employees to work from home and given them the resources to do so
    safely and effectively
  • Restructured the work schedules of on-site staff to ensure the safety and operations of the venue
  • Deep cleaned the facilities and put in place practices for housekeeping staff to clean high-touch areas
    frequently throughout events
  • Installed additional hand sanitizing stations throughout the center
  • Worked with Centerplate, our professional on-site caterer, as they institute new cleaning and sanitizing protocols and food preparation protocols that meet and exceed standards

As we move forward, we will continue to monitor and implement revised public health guidelines for
convening. Everyone at Alliant Energy Center remains invested in meeting our customers’ needs. Please let
us know what we can do to plan a safe, successful event for you in the future. We are with you in this
effort. Please be safe and look out for each other.

Sincerely,
The Staff at Alliant Energy Center
