The Madison Comic and Pop Culture Expo is back at the Alliant Energy Center this weekend, offering a family-friendly celebration of TV, movies, gaming, and comics. Founder Ben Penrod describes the event as a “nerdy flea market,” with plenty to explore for fans of all ages.
In addition to comic books and collectibles, over 100 local artists will be showcasing and selling their work. The expo runs Saturday, August 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, August 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are available on the event’s website.
